My new watercolor pencils came today, these are going to be a fun addition to my artsy collection.

this is not a great photo - but the moon looked so cool tonight.  We first noticed it rising during our Boot Camp - Debbie said "look at the moon on your way back" as we ran down to the parking lot and back.  It was really neat looking through the big tree at the Community Center.  By the time I got home is was higher in the sky and the fog was coming in.  This isn't great - but the best I could do with my little CoolPix.

 Another Wednesday yard shot - a little wet from some sprinkles, and lots of stuff from the tree has fallen. The birds love pecking through the "goodies".

A little view of my china cabinet - after Christmas I did the big job of taking everything out and cleaning the glass shelves, plates, glasses, tea cups and pots.  Then it was time to reorganize and display.  I love my green glass, the pitcher came from my Great Grandmother, who got it in a bag of flower during the depression!

 Once a month I go to a Stampin' Up "Club" at Elaine's house.  She teaches us a new card or project, we chat and make our orders for the month.  This is Elaine and some of her samples behind her. This month we had goodies to celebrate the new year!

Regular boot camp workout tonight, those sprints outside in 40° weather were brutal! That Melissa, always coming up with something new!

Finally able to get out to the "studio" to do some work, it's been so cold!  I have two little space heaters going, warm clothes and Wristies to keep me warm.  Finishing up some scrapbook pages from last year.

My new Kindle with my "new" library card.  The Campbell Library required an update - so my old card from 1989 made way for this sleek new one.  But, it does allow me to check out eBooks on my Kindle!

It was a very foggy morning - this is what greeted me as I left for work.  It burned off soon enough and we had a gorgeous sunny day.

Back to our regularly scheduled workouts!  Here I am in the Campbell Community Center weight room.  This marks the start of my 13th year working out with Melissa - I forget how many years ago I started!

 We didn't get a lot of holiday baking done, so here I am trying to perfect some Double Chocolate cookies. They turned out better this second time - a few dark chocolate chips in lieu of the m&ms the recipe calls for.

A frosty start to the day.  I am going to take a photo of the backyard each Wednesday morning to chronicle the changes throughout the year.  January 2nd was very cold, frosty and you can see hardly anything blooming in the yard.

Jan 1

I'm embarking on a 365 project for the year 2013.  So each day I will take a photo - the hard part will be keeping up and remembering to lug the camera around and find new, interesting things to photograph.

We start the year off with a view of the little path and bright red berries that great me as I go out to the garage - aka studio - to work.  I love the bright red against the green. happy new year!
