This summer I'm trying again to do Maria's Photography Scavenger Hunt

Here are the first photos I've found:
A seasonal cocktail or beverage - we were up in the Santa Cruz Mountains on a Camaro Club Mystery Cruise.  The other folks in our group agreed this was seasonal... all the seasons for growing grapes, harvesting,  wine making and then wine drinking!  ;-)

A "wild heart", a naturally occurring heart.  I was surprised to see this when I cut into my watermelon!
and #12 is a window.  Now I'm hoping to find a better window photo but I couldn't resist a photo from our showroom!  Lots of pretty windows to see here!

Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt

This summer I am participating in Maria's scavenger hunt.  She's done if for a few summers and had the idea to do so after seeing the summer photo scavenger hunt my family did for a few summers.  We had a lot of fun doing that and being in competition all summer added to the excitement.  You can see that on the Super Summer blog here

I'm off to a bit of a slow start and only have 2 of the items so far, but I still have plenty of summer left to get the rest!

This is #8 - Someone "plugged in" to social media.  This is my son and his girlfriend all busy on their iPhones as we sat in the waiting room at Clovis Community Hospital. We were waiting for my grand-daughter to be born, ofcourse at the time we didn't know she was a she yet!
This photo is on highway 152 going from Watsonville to Gilroy.  Part of the road is undergoing work which results in only one lane so they set up signals at each end.  This is a beautiful stretch of road and part of the "loop" we make for fun days.  Starting at home in Campbell, over the mountains to Corralitos for jerkey and sausage, on to Watsonville for Ollalieberries and pies then to Gilroy for wine!

Sierra Vista Hike

the sun was in my way... but this is the ladder that Mark's Dad and Uncles would climb up into the tree for their deer hunting.  There are more ladder parts and then they sat way up in the tree waiting for the deer.  We didn't see any deer, but lots of hoof prints.  Mostly we saw squirrels, LOL

We had a bit of rain, thunder & lightening and some hail on the east foothills here this past Saturday.  Then on Sunday it was a bright sunny day with great clouds. We decided to go check out the new parking lot for the Sierra Vista trail and hike on down to the Ranch.

Click on the photos to embiggen - and see if you can pick out any Santa Clara County landmarks!  I see the place that Erin works at now!
